Literature Text

His eyes, so deep and dark, but yet so true,
Avoid the look of anguish on my face.
I search today, I want him to approve,
So in his heart, I'll take my righteous place.

It seems my fate is blind and unaware,
Of he, the one entangled in his pride.
Do I lack affection, am I unfair?
It's too involved to take it all in stride.

Bu tnow the bitter words flow free from him,
They cause the silent downfall of my soul.
I question Where I wronged, all on a whim,
Before my callous dearesttook his toll.

The struggle took a piece of me with it,
But left a lesson I won't soon forget.
One of my good friends is going through a bad break-up, we warned her about it, we saw it coming *sigh*
I guess ignorence is bliss until its over.

I like this. Sonnets can be tricky, but you didn't get too messed up in the form. Good job. :)
